Police Officers Under Fire For Repeatedly Kicking Golders Green Knifeman In The Head During Arrest

Terrible news out of Golders Green, north London today, as two Jewish men aged 76 and 34 were stabbed by a knifeman in a terror attack.

Footage has since gone viral of police officers tasing the man, and then repeatedly booting him in the head as they made their arrest:

Now obviously it’s never nice to see a man get repeatedly kicked in the head like that, but the priority was to ensure he dropped the knife before he hurt anyone else (as the officers screamed at him to do).

Still, some social media users are questioning whether those brutal kicks to the head were necessary…

I’m sure the officers will have been thinking – “better safe than sorry”. Still, it will be interesting to see if there’s any fallout at all from the way they dealt with it.

A 45-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and The Metropolitan Police has formally declared the attack a terrorist incident, with counter-terrorism officers leading the investigation. The suspect reportedly has a history of violence and mental health issues.

Both victims were taken to hospital and are currently in stable condition, so that’s good.
