The Daily Mail Is Under Fire For Calling Murdered Klaudia Zakrzewska A ‘BBL Influencer’
I don’t think anyone ever accused the Daily Mail of being sensitive and thoughtful with their headlines, but they’re still catching a ton of flak for the title they used when reporting on the death of Klaudia Zakrzewska AKA Klaudiaglam this weekend.
Klaudia, 32, died on Saturday after spending a week in a coma after she’d been run over by influencer rival Gabriella Carrington in Soho, London last week.
Here’s how Daily Mail broke the news:
And some of the reaction that followed…

Now in fairness to the Daily Mail and whoever wrote that headline, Klaudia Zakrzewska did undergo multiple Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedures and built a significant portion of her social media presence around the surgery. She had 5 BBLs in total and her content was focused on the journey and showing the BBL off in photos. Her online identity was essentially the “BBL influencer”.
Still, does that necessarily mean they had to go with that headline? After all, “influencer” might have sufficed. So yeah, you can argue that it’s insensitive or clickbait, but I’m not sure that it’s quite as outrageous as people are making out. Or maybe we’ve seen so many Daily Mail headlines over the years that we’re just desensitised to it all.
In any case, it seems they’ve amended the headline.

Klaudia’s murderer, Gabrielle Carrington, is now facing murder charges and should expect to spend the next 20 years in prison at least.
Meanwhile, the security guard she mowed down at the same time is also in hospital with life-changing injuries. Fortunately, he will survive.
RIP Klaudia and thoughts with her family and friends.
