Iranians Form Human Chains Over Bridges After Trump Threatens: ‘A Whole Civilisation Will Die Tonight’
In case you missed it, the President of the United States has basically threatened to nuke Iran by claiming ‘a whole civilization will die tonight’ if Iran doesn’t cave to the U.S. and Israel’s demands…
We’re all hoping Trump’s threats come to nothing, but in the meantime, thousands of Iranians are taking to the streets and forming human chains around bridges, power plants, and other critical infrastructure sites that Trump has threatened to blow up…

I’m not sure that’s a great idea given they’re dealing with a military that bombed a school full of 10-year-old girls, but it’s a symbolic show of defiance in any case.
Trump will probably backtrack at the last minute and Tweet something about “positive talks” and the war ending soon so he can buy himself more time, because that seems to be his style these days. He tries to terrify Iran into surrendering and when that doesn’t work he starts claiming that he’s won the war or that a deal is being worked on and just basically saying anything to not admit that this war was a terrible idea and is backfiring massively in his face.
If Trump makes it to the mid-terms in November – you have to think it’s going to be a bad day in the office for him. Then again, if he drags this war on long enough, he could end up cancelling the mid-terms altogether and carry on doing what he’s doing until 2029. He might actually be insane enough to do that.
Is he insane enough to nuke Iran tonight? We’ll have to wait and see.
Meanwhile, Keir Starmer’s popularity has increased after he refused to join the war. Who would have thought?
