Teen Suspected Of Stabbing 16-Year-Old Girl To Death ‘Over A Boy’ Pictured

An 18-year-old woman accused of stabbing a 16-year-old schoolgirl to death in a row over a boy in Leeds last weekend has been pictured for the first time.

Chloe Watson Dransfield, 16, was found with multiple stab wounds in Kennerleigh Avenue, Austhorpe, at 6am last Saturday. She had been knifed in the neck and back.

Three teenagers appeared in court today charged with murder; one of them – 18-year-old Kayla Smith:

Smith is a self-employed beautician who runs ‘Luxe Aesthetic’s from her granddad’s home in Leeds, according to the Daily Mail.

Archie Rycroft, aged 19, has also been charged with murder:

A 17-year-old boy who cannot be named has also been charged with the same offence, with another unnamed 18-year-old man also remaining in custody. A further 18-year-old man and 17-year-old girl been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Chloe’s cousin Shantelle Watson wrote on GoFundMe: ‘My 16-year-old cousin’s life was sadly taken in tragedy.

’16 years young. She didn’t even make it to her 18th – her whole life was taken in a flash over a boy.

‘Her mum is distraught; she has left two younger siblings behind.’

‘I wanted to create a GoFundMe to help give her the best send off possible.

‘She didn’t deserve this; she was so full of life, such an innocent, beautiful soul taken too soon.’

Detective Chief Inspector James Entwistle, who is leading the investigation, said: ‘Our thoughts remain with Chloe’s family at this incredibly difficult time. Our specially-trained officers continue to provide them with support.

‘Our investigation into her death is ongoing and five people arrested on suspicion of murder remain in custody, as we continue to establish the full circumstances of this incident.

‘I am appealing to anyone with any relevant information to contact us.’

Simply tragic that any dispute between teenagers could lead to such a tragic outcome, let alone one over a boy. Stabbed in the back and left to die in the street at 16 years old ffs.

RIP Chloe and thoughts with her friends and family – let’s hope justice is served.
