Ian Huntley’s Daughter Says: ‘Flush His Ashes Down The Toilet’
The only child of Ian Huntley has recommended his ashes be ‘flushed down the toilet’ in an interview following the Soham killer’s death this weekend.
Samantha Bryan, 27, will have been around 3 years old when her dad murdered 10-year-olds Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman. though she only discovered her biological connection to the double child murderer at age 14.
Samantha told The Sun: “He shouldn’t have the dignity of a funeral and grave. I will not be going. A funeral is pointless for a man like him. His ashes should just be flushed down the toilet.”

She added: “You’d normally never wish death on anyone but when it comes to people like him how could you not?”
She wants to avoid any memorial or resting place where “freaks or weirdos” could show him “twisted respect,” and said the “heavy burden” of being Ian Huntley’s daughter has finally been lifted.
Huntley’s killer, triple murderer and rapist Anthony Russell, struck Huntley 15 times with a spiked metal pole in the prison workshop and reportedly shouted: “I’ve done it! I’ve done it! I’ve killed him!”
I’m not sure why Huntley’s daughter gave an interview as you’d think maybe she’d just want to disappear and hide from it all, but I guess we are in a cost of living crisis and The Sun does pay big for these sort of things.
I don’t think anyone even knew he even had a daughter, but I can’t imagine what she went through knowing what her father did, even if she never actually knew him. Hopefully she’s now able to get on with her life knowing he’s never coming back.
