Speculation is still rife around the identity of the BBC presenter who allegedly paid £35,000 to a 17-year-old boy for sexually explicit photos, with Rylan Clark, Gary Lineker, Jeremy Vine and Nicky Campbell all shooting down accusations via Twitter in the last week.

One person who hasn’t addressed claims that it could be them is BBC News presenter Huw Edwards, which is interesting because his name has been at the top of the rumour mill for a few days now. He also hasn’t appeared on any of his scheduled TV appearances ever since the news broke and the BBC announced they had suspended the presenter in question. Also, his Instagram page has just disappeared.

Most damning of all though, is a NSFW picture that’s been doing the rounds on Twitter which appears to show Huw Edward’s bare bum on full display as he’s presumably on video call with the teenager in question. Apparently publishing the photo on this site could get us into trouble, so I’ll just link to it on Twitter instead – HERE.

Now it’s possible that picture is Photoshopped but it’s the #1 trending topic on Twitter and whether it’s authentic or not, the BBC presenter’s identity seems to be the worst kept secret in the industry right now. I’m not even 100% sure that any of the accusations are technically illegal or just perverted, but I guess that’s something we’ll learn more about when the celebrity’s identity is inevitably revealed to the public.

Just to clarify though, we are categorically NOT saying that the BBC presenter who allegedly paid a teenager £35,000 for naughty pics is Huw Edwards. Rather, we are just commenting on the scuttlebutt (pun not intended but intended). Thanks for reading.
