Nicki Minaj Makes Awkward ‘Assassin’ Comment To Erika Kirk At America Fest
You would think Nicki Minaj and her music were the antithesis of everything MAGA stands for, but the movement has fully embraced the rapper and she’s now up on stages speaking on behalf of Donald Trump at the UN, and giving speeches alongside Erika Kirk at Turning Point events.
She had a very awkward moment at Turning Point’s AmFest yesterday, though, as she referenced ‘amazing role models like the assassin JD Vance, our vice president.’ Not ideal given that Erika Kirk, widow of recently-assassinated Charlie Kirk, was sitting right there next to her:
Erika: “What do you think about for young men?”
Minaj: “Don’t be no scum. Young men, you have amazing role models like our handsome dashing president and you have amazing role models like the Assassin JD Vance, our vice president.”
Erika: “There nothing new under the sun that I have not heard. So you’re fine… You let it roll right off your back…”
Whoopsies. The rapper clearly felt bad about that one, but fair play to Erika Kirk for rolling with it and brushing it off like it’s no big deal. I guess she has experience with that sort of thing.
As for Nicki Minaj, people are still struggling to wrap their heads around why she’s so big on MAGA recently. Is it because her music sales are flopping and she needs a new grift? Or could it be that she wants her sex offender husband and paedophile brother (currently serving 25 – life for raping a child) pardoned by Trump in the future?
Your guess is as good as mine.
