I remember a few years ago that people started putting kiwi fruit on pizza and people were freaked out about it, but now Roscoe’s Pizza in the sleepy village of Corwin, near Cincinnati, Ohio has turned the game on its head yet again by releasing a banana pizza with a peanut butter base – and also claiming that it’s one of their most popular dishes.

‘The Elvis’ is named after the King Of Rock N’ Roll himself and also features bacon and cheese, apparently because Elvis Presley enjoyed nothing more than tucking into peanut butter, bacon, and banana sandwiches.

It certainly sounds like a interesting combination and as we all know how vocal people can be about a simple Hawaiian pizza, they also weren’t too shy about sharing their opinions about this one either.

I guess make your own mind up about it if you’re in the area, although I really have no idea why anyone would ever be in this area except maybe to specifically try the pizza. It’ll set you back $9.99 (£8.05) for an 8-inch and up to $27.99 (£22.56) for a 16-inch which seems kind of expensive but I suppose it’s the cost of living crisis over there as well. Let us know what you think.

For more of the same, check out this tinned spaghetti and pineapple pizza. What the hell is wrong with some people?
