3) Is Life On Earth Alone In The Universe?

Big Science Questions - Aliens

Now, personally, I love to think of little grey fellas being dissected in a nuclear bunker somewhere in Texas, but I can’t let my rational mind runny wild on a whim. If I think it through I just can’t believe that an alien race that evolved elsewhere in the universe came to have two legs and arms, two eyes, fingers, feet, a nose and mouth and an adventurous spirit. That seems too far-fetched to me.

But life doesn’t have to mean anal probe wielding maniacs, it could just mean martian mold or Neptunian nematodes. So far we have covered the tiniest sliver of space, and not at all thoroughly. I mean, if a fungus grew on one part of the moon, just one metre below the surface, we would never have found it.

Who knows what’s out there?
