Former porn star Mia Khalifa has managed to piss a lot of people off by photoshopping her face onto an image of the Virgin Mary.

Mia, who was once voted the #1 porn star on Pornhub, posted the picture on her Instagram account. Since then the photo has managed to rack up a barrage of angry responses, with some people even sending death threats. One person wrote:
Stupid girl you deserve death.

Harsh. I mean don’t get me wrong, obviously she’s asking for an angry reaction by doing something like that, but there’s no need to be so extreme. Apparently Mia posted it in response to confusion over Malala Yousafzai, a women’s rights activist who many people mistook for the ex-porn star.
This came after Malala was targeted by trolls after being pictured wearing skinny jeans and heeled boots during her first week at Oxford University. Malala previously campaigned for girls to get an education and as a result was nearly murdered back in 2012 when Taliban fighters shot her in the head.
She went on to win the Nobel Peace Prize for her global campaigning, but still recently became a target for trolls after the picture of her in jeans and heels was shared on the Facebook page of Pakistani forum Siasat.pk. And apparently one news outlet mistook the campaigner for Mia.
Fair enough for pointing out the mistake, but it seems like Mia has once again managed to rile up a load of people with her social media mishaps. While we’re on the subject, here’s the time she responded to HIV rumours with an outrageously offensive joke.
