Last week Kanye West let it be known that he had dreams of branching out into the furniture industry and design for IKEA. Speaking to BBC Radio One, he said:

I have to work with IKEA – make furniture for interior design, for architecture.

Not sure whether it was anything to do with the crude sketches or just the fact that who the fuck wants to put their name to Kanye West’s, but an IKEA spokesperson has already shut down his request.
They said that while they are “flattered by Kanye West’s high interest” they had no intention to “collaborate at this point in time.” Having said that, they did humour him over in Australia by making a mockup of what their collaboration would look like if it were to become a reality.

Ah bless. Hopefully that’ll keep him quiet for a little while anyway. If this does actually happen, I wonder if it will be as big of a flop as his video game? Quit putting your fingers in all the pies dude.
