George Zimmerman, the guy who shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in 2012 because he was a black kid in a hoodie, has ignited more controversy after announcing that he’s selling the pistol he used to take Trayvon’s life.

The gun went up for sale on auction site GunBroker.com, where Zimmerman describes the Kel-Tec PF-9 as “a piece of American history.” To be fair to the site, they’ve since removed the listing.

The firearm for sale is the firearm that was used to defend my life and end the brutal attack from Trayvon Martin on 2/26/2012. Many have expressed interest in owning and displaying the firearm including The Smithsonian Museum in Washington, D.C. This is a piece of American History.

He had put up a reserve price of $5,000, and said some of the proceeds would be donated to pro-gun causes.

Just when you thought the guy couldn’t get any worse huh? I guess he realises he doesn’t really have anything to lose at this point because the whole world hates him as it is. Not only is he a murderer, he also got arrested for domestic violence a while back and is reportedly pretty broke. Also doubt he’s the most employable person in the world. So I can understand why he wants to sell the gun. Donating some of the proceeds to pro-gun causes though? Total troll move.

Even more so than when he tried to sell this painting on eBay.
