It’s hard to believe that it’s only six weeks until Halloween – the whole year has been fairly horrific though so maybe it won’t even be that much of a change for most of us – but there is a big question over how will be celebrated this year with social distancing requirements coming back into place from Monday (at least at the time of writing).

One of my favourite parts of Halloween is heading to those crazy haunted mazes and walking through them whilst a bunch of costumed actors jump out and chase me around and scare me, but it looks like that is definitely going to be off the agenda this year. Thankfully, at least one venue has decided to come up with an alternative though in the form of a drive thru maze that will offer the same sort of thrill, only from behind the wheel of your car.

The bad news is that it’s located at the Rock Park festival site in Wrexham which means that it’s probably going to be geographically inaccessible for a lot of people, but if you an make it there you’ll receive a 15-20 minute journey around the maze for the price of just £12.50 per person. The maze will feature several scenes from the scariest TV shows and movies as you make your way around it and has also promised to be ‘extremely gruesome’. Maybe it’s time for a little road trip?

For more of the same, check out McKamey Manor. That looks like straight up torture.
