A 12-year-old Chinese boy had to undergo eye surgery after his teacher set up a competition where other students formed an orderly queue to slap him across the face, with the loudest slap winning a prize.
The child, who was being punished for not doing his homework, said:
“After being slapped, the teacher then made me do push ups and did not allow me to eat lunch”.
He later said he couldn’t see properly out of his left eye and doctors have told his parents that his sight might not be curable.
The kid’s family received 30,000 yuan (£3,000) in compensation.
Obviously this teacher should be fired, blacklisted, tied up and slapped the shit out of by all his students but on the plus side — no more late homework from this kid, guaranteed.
