David Arquette did less well than his wife following the Scream movies – in which he played Deputy Sheriff Dewey – and the trilogy is probably still his best known work. He appeared in a couple of notable (perhaps) movies such as 8 Legged Freaks and Muppets from Space but arguably his greatest post-Scream moment came during the promotion of his movie Ready to Rumble, where he competed in WCW Wrestling and flukily won the World Heavyweight Title. Wrestling enthusiasts however describe this storyline as one of the main reasons that WCW declined and eventually was bought out by the WWE. Nice one David Arquette. Following his divorce from Courteney Cox, he also entered rehab for alcohol abuse. Smooth.
