Scientists Have Developed A Pill That Can Extend The Lifespan Of Dogs For Years
Scientists have finally come up with something good – a pill that can extend the lifespan of dogs by literal years.
Biotech company Loyal is currently developing the treatment which could extend the healthy lifespan of dogs, with early versions potentially reaching vet clinics as early as 2027.
It’s a daily, beef-flavored medication made specifically for older dogs to keep them healthy as they age.

I can’t imagine there’s anyone out there who wouldn’t want a few extra years with their dog, so this is great news all round. The average dog lives around 10 – 13 years, which is way too short a time! These good boys and girls have earned themselves a few more extra years on Earth if you ask me, so big up the science nerds who are making this all possible.
Now all we have to do is find a way to make a pill that has the opposite effect and can be tested on the Jack Russell living next door to me. Anyone working on that?

Hopefully this for-profit pill has no side effects and is affordable and not just marketed for wealthy people’s dogs, but it’s too early to say at this point. Could be one of the greatest developments in medicine if it all works out.
