I’ve been talking over the past week or so about how loads of different new pigs in blankets food options have been released this year like pigs in blankets pizzas and pigs in blankets cheesecakes, but Sainsbury’s really have outdone themselves by offering up a pigs in blankets specific delivery restaurant option via Uber Eats. This basically means you can get pigs in blankets related cuisine to your door within minutes – what a genius idea.

The menu is actually fairly extensive and awesome as well and not just limited to your regular pigs in blankets with items like Pigs and Dips (veggie and non-veggie), Sprouts and Sprinkle with Bacon, Pigs and Mash (veggie and non-veggie) and Sainsbury’s Pigs in Blankets Flavour Tortilla Trees. Not really sure what a Tortilla Tree is but excited to try it sure.

There are also a bunch of items that aren’t hot that you can just save for another time as well including Sainsbury’s Pigs in Blankets Flavour Mayo, Taste the Difference Pigs in Blankets Crisps and even Pigs in Blankets Flavoured Noodles. Really pushing the boat out this year aren’t they?

Of course, there are obviously a couple of catches to this and they’re actually quite big ones this time. The restaurant is only available via the Uber Eats app (not so bad) and is also only available in certain areas of London, Birmingham and Manchester (not so great). In fairness though, they do have vegetarian options of a lot of menu items which is pretty good of them. Just a real shame they’re not rolling it out nationwide though for people in places like Newcastle and Norwich.

Maybe if it does really well this year though they’ll open it up nationwide? Please?

For more of the same, check out this two metre long pig in blanket. Surely that’s too much?
