Prison Guard Googled Jeffrey Epstein Minutes Before His Body Was Found – And Deposited Thousands Days Earlier
One of the shadier part of Jeffrey Epstein’s “suicide” was what exactly the guards were up to when the disgraced paedo financier supposedly killed himself in his cell that night in 2019.
Newly released Department of Justice documents reveal that one of the prison guards assigned to Epstein’s unit searched for information about him online just minutes before his body was discovered.
Correction officer Tova Noel googled “latest on Epstein in jail” at 5:42am and again at 5:52am on 10 August 2019.

Epstein’s body was found unresponsive by Noel and her colleague, Michael Thomas, approximately 40 minutes later, at 6:30am, when they brought him breakfast.
During the eight hours preceding the discovery, prosecutors stated the guards failed to perform any of the mandated 30-minute checks, instead spending the time sleeping and browsing the internet for furniture and motorbikes.
DOJ files also noted that Noel made a $5,000 cash deposit into her bank account on 30 July 2019 – 10 days before Epstein’s death. This was one of several deposits flagged as suspicious by her bank.

Noel and Thomas were initially charged with falsifying prison records to cover their failure to perform checks. These criminal charges were dropped in December 2021 after the guards completed a deferred prosecution agreement and cooperated with investigators.
Aside from that, there’s also the issue of the “pixelated orange blob” moving toward Epstein’s cell at 10:39pm the night before, which has been a source of debate and conspiracies since the footage was released last summer.
The FBI suggested it was an inmate, while the DOJ Inspector General concluded it was an officer carrying orange linen or bedding.
I don’t expect we’ll ever know the truth about what happened to Epstein that night, or whether anything happened to him at all, but it’s one more bit of news that lends to the suspicion around his death.
Pretty wild that it’s taken so long for this to come out, too. It may not even get that much traction given that Trump and co are distracting the world with the war on Iran instead.
Lawyers for Noel declined to speak to the NY Post. Asked during her sworn statement if she had any part in Epstein’s death, Noel replied “no.”
