Not since the ex porn star who unwraps presents for a living have we felt so disgusted/jealous of a complete stranger’s money-making scheme.

Alex Craig from Texas dreamed up the idea to write anonymous custom messages onto potatoes and send them to people through the mail… and somehow it took off massively. Craig says he came up with the idea for Potato Parcel while having dinner with his girlfriend:

She said, ‘You will not sell a single potato. This is the stupidest idea I’ve ever heard.’” On our second day that we were live, and we started promoting it on Reddit, and we got $2,000 in orders, and I just knew this was it.

Motherfucker. Well if anything this might be what you need to see in order to finally quit that soul-crushing 9-5 and do something completely ridiculous to make your living instead. Seriously, anything can work if this guy’s potato idea did.

Or you could just stay unemployed for a while… we all know that’s always a good time.
