Parallel parking has been a problem for learner drivers since driving began. I remember when I first started learning in my white 1998 1.7 diesel Vauxhall Corsa (R.I.P) I struggled with the parallel park for a few weeks at most. Thing is though, after a few weeks of driving everyday and having to parallel park pretty much twice a day I eventually got the gist of it, which is why it baffles me when people who seem old enough to have been driving for at least a few months (no doubt years) still can’t get the hang of this simple parking manoeuvre. Gawd.
