More People Reportedly Attended The Arsenal Title Celebrations Last Night Than The Unite The Kingdom Rally
Absolute scenes on the streets of north London last night as spontaneous celebrations broke out following Man City’s draw at Bournemouth – which meant Arsenal won their first Premier League title in 22 years.
Judging by the videos and images, there was an absolute fvck ton of people around the Emirates stadium and the surrounding areas…

According to reports (and anyone with eyes), ‘tens of thousands’ of people turned up to join the celebrations, with some sources, including TalkSport, claiming that up to 100,000 Gooners were in attendance, with the celebrations carrying on well into the early hours of the morning.
This would mean the impromptu, organic Arsenal title celebrations on a Tuesday night were bigger than the Unite the Kingdom rally this past Saturday, which was reportedly attended by just 50,000 people.
Which is still a lot of people, but nowhere near the millions that Tommy Robinson claimed, and well below the 150,000 that attended the UTK rally the previous year.

Now look, the Unite the Kingdom rally numbers are up for debate, depending on who you believe, but it’s still pretty mental that so many Arsenal supporters flocked from all around the city to be in north London last night. Then again, a lot of them have been waiting for over two decades for this moment, so maybe it’s not that mental.
The craziest part? The official Arsenal title parade doesn’t take place until Sunday, May 31. It could potentially even be a double celebration if Arsenal win the Champion’s League against PSG the day before.
If yesterday evening was anything to go by, May 31 is going to be complete lockdown on the streets of London. Fair play to Arsenal – it’s been a long time coming.
