Matthew Perry’s autobiography seems like the hottest ticket in town at the moment as every day there seems to be a hot new story coming out from it with today’s all about how the former ‘Friends’ actor would regularly wake up covered in his own poop.

It’s well documented that Perry has had issues with addiction over the years and he recently revealed that back in 2018 he fell into a coma for two weeks after he overdosed on opioids. He was then fitted with a colostomy bag and then an ileostomy after that with the whole situation sounding less than ideal.

Here’s what he had to say about it:

I needed a colostomy bag that didn’t break. I woke up covered in my own s***, I’m talking 50 to 60 times.

I would wake up, the bag would have broken again and I had s*** all over my face, my body. When it breaks, it breaks. You have to get nurses.

The ileostomy is 10 times worse. You have to deal with an ileostomy bag 18, 19 times a day. A lot of suicides with an ileostomy bag. People can’t take it.

Geez. That does not sound good at all does it? Fair play to the guy for coming clean and telling the whole world about his issues with all the gory details included. Hopefully his story can help a few people out there. Hopefully he’s all cleaned up now too as well.
