Man Starts Seeing Involuntary Hallucinations Of ‘Pamela Anderson’s Breasts’ After Eye Surgery

A man plagued by hallucinations of Pamela Anderson’s breasts thought he was losing his marbles after symptoms began following surgery on his eye.

Mark Bryan, 45, from Redbridge, London, experienced the involuntary hallucinations 20 times a day for 10 days after his surgery.

Doctors diagnosed it as Charles Bonnet Syndrome (CBS) – a condition causing vivid, complex hallucinations in people with significant vision loss.

Mark explained he had a poster of Pamela on his bedroom wall growing up which he believes is the link.

He told The Sun: “It was very funny. I felt like such a teenager.

“I had that poster of Pamela Anderson on my wall when I was younger, this was like having it pinned to my face.

“To be honest I thought I might have lost my mind. Although it was hilarious it scared the crap out of me as well. It kept popping up and wouldn’t go away.”

The hallucinations would pop up randomly; when he closed his eyes, when he was watching TV, brushing his teeth, or even superimposed on strangers at Burger King.

Fortunately after ten days the images disappeared. I mean, I can think of worse things to hallucinate every day than Pamela Anderosn’s b00bs, but still, it must’ve been pretty distracting.

Mark says he was told the CBS was caused by his brain compensating for the lack of information coming in from his right eye – which had to be operated on as he was losing his sight due to diabetes.

He confessed: “It made me feel like a bit of a perv.”

Clearly that Pamela Anderson poster had quite an effect on him throughout childhood, and remains a big part of his subconscious as an adult. His brain really filled in the blanks with a close-up of a premium 90s Pamela Anderson poster! Incredible. Cheers for sharing your story, Mark.
