After being called ’embarrassing’, ‘cringe’, ‘disrespectful’, and other unkind things on Twitter, MGK responded with a couple of his own Tweets:

Well, I’m not sure that you can complain about being asked for an interview by Martin Brundle when you’ve been invited as a guest at the Formula One, and you definitely can’t expect to be left alone by the media when you turn up somewhere wearing bright yellow, can you? Not sure the loud car engines were the issue either. This guy just had no clue who Brundle was and thought he was doing him a massive favour by giving him the time of day.
Has MGK even watched F1 before? If he had, he might’ve known that you don’t mess with Martin Brundle:
