16-year-old darts prodigy Luke ‘The Nuke’ Littler has taken over the sport at the world championships and become an overnight sensation, owing partly to the fact he looks like a 35-year-old man with two kids and a mortgage rather than a teenager who’s unbelievably good at darts.

Littler is well on his way to becoming a millionaire with sponsors lining up to endorse him following his series of dominant performances at the world championships. 21-year-old girlfriend Eloise Milburn is also coming along for the ride, with the pair set to become the darts world (first?) power couple.

The pair have only been dating for around six weeks after meeting while playing FIFA on Xbox, but they’ve already shared a kiss on live TV after Littler thumped opponent Brendan Dolan 5-1 in the world championship quarter-finals.

Eloise, herself a keen darts player, shared a snap of them on Instagram with the message: “The dream carries on. Incredibly proud of you!”

Adorable. I just love how Littler is a regular 16-year-old lad who plays FIFA on Xbox and in his spare time obliterates the best darts players in the world. Just an absolute sniper with a dart in his hand. He plays to the crowd, has a bit of swagger about him, but is also pretty humble at the same time. Here he is describing his life at home:

“[I] just wake up, play on my Xbox, have some food and have a chuck on the board, go to bed and that’s it.”

Great scouting move by his 21-year-old girlfriend to start dating him just before he became a global darts superstar. Couldn’t have timed it any better. Best of luck to the happy couple!
