It’s crazy how fast Conor McGregor has fallen out of favour these last few years, and it now seems even his fellow countrymen are sick of him.

Neeson recently chatted to Men’s Health and had the following to say about McGregor:

“That little leprechaun, Conor McGregor… oh please. He gives Ireland a bad name. I know he’s fit, and I admire him for that. But, I can’t take it.”

Turns out he’s not a big fan of the UFC in general:

“UFC, I can’t stand. That, to me, is like a bar fight. I know all the practitioners would say, ‘No, you’re wrong! The months of training we do…’ Why don’t you just grab a beer bottle and hit the other guy over the head? That’s the next stage from UFC. I hate it.”

Liam Neeson calls Conor McGregor a "little leprechaun"

Not sure I share his sentiments on that one but it’s hard to disagree with his comments on Conor McGregor. The guy went from being the pride of Ireland to one of the most disgraced celebrities on the planet; punching an old man in the face for the dumbest reason ever and also (allegedly) beating up a woman on a yacht and threatening to drown her. Not to mention the rape accusations.

Ever since being battered by Khabib and losing to Poirier (twice), it’s just been downhill really. But even at this point it’s got to sting for him to read that one of the most beloved Irishmen ever thinks he’s an absolute clown. Come on Conor, sort yourself out.
