A Kai Rooney voice note has leaked online in which the 14-year-old is heard slagging off Birmingham City players following his dad’s unceremonious sacking this week.

In the leaked audio, Wayne Rooney’s lad rips into the players for being ‘overweight’ and ‘awful’, and then claims his dad was about to sign a whole bunch of sick players, including Raul Jimenez, who used to bang in the goals for Birmingham’s neighbours Wolves before his sickening head injury:

Lol – was he going to sign Messi as well? There’s no way Jimenez would leave Fulham and the Premier League to join Wayne Rooney’s Birmingham City, surely? Especially now that he’s banging in goals semi-regularly.

Obviously it’s not ideal for this audio to leak and compound Wayne Rooney’s embarrassment, but on some level he’ll probably be proud that his son is sticking up for him, even if he’s probably just repeating the things Wayne would say when he’d come home after another defeat in the Championship. Either way, can’t be sending risky voice notes like this to randoms on social media in this day and age. You live and you learn.

For the time Wayne Rooney debated becoming a lawyer because he was so obsessed with the Wagatha Christie trial, click HERE. There’s still time…
