ICE Agents Ate Meal At Minnesota Mexican Restaurant – Then Arrested The Staff Who Worked There
ICE officers reportedly arrested three staff members from a Mexican restaurant outside of Minneapolis, Minnesota, this week, after they got done eating lunch at the establishment. What is the charge – making a nice, succulent meal?
As per The Independent, four ICE officers ate at a booth at El Tapatio, a family-owned restaurant in Willmar, Minnesota at 3pm last Thursday, then returned at 8pm and arrested three staff members.
Witnesses who took photos of the officers at the restaurant and videos of the arrest said the staff appeared “frightened.”

As is usually the case with ICE, it’s unclear why these individuals were arrested, but this particular incident sounds like something straight out of a movie where some oppressive force would do this precisely to show how cruel and ruthless they are.
I mean, you can imagine these ICE officers found it pretty amusing that they were enjoying a nice delicious Mexican meal one minute, and then arresting the staff the next.
At the same time, it’s a bit like the protesters at the London anti-immigrant rally who stopped afterwards to eat curry and kebabs. But in reverse, maybe.
Now obviously if these restaurant workers have broken laws or are in the US working illegally then we can fully expect/understand this sort of thing happening, but with the way ICE have been going on lately, they just seem like a gang of sick f**ks who get a thrill out of terrorising and arresting (not to mention shooting) people.
The staff at El Tapatio may as well have refused to serve them – the outcome would have been the same. Then again – the reviews could be a little better, so maybe that wouldn’t have been the greatest approach…
