As if being the world’s most infamous sex trafficker and going to jail for the rest of your life wasn’t enough to deal with already, Ghislaine Maxwell has now been informed by her husband that he’s leaving her for his yoga teacher. The most brutal part? He told her via prison phone!

As per Yahoo, Maxwell secretly married Silicon Valley entrepreneur Scott Borgerson back in 2006, which only became public info after the Maxwell/Epstein story blew up in 2020.

Surely Maxwell realised the writing was on the wall? Even still, the phone call between Maxwell and Borgerson was described as “confrontational” after he “told her he had moved on and was seeing someone else.”

Maxwell was convicted of five of six sex-trafficking charges. She faces a sentence of up to 65 years in prison. A friend of Maxwell’s told MailOnline that the pair hoped the marriage could be “dissolved amicably and quickly.”

So who is this yoga teacher, then? Her name is Kris McGinn and it looks like she has no social media presence whatsoever. I did find one pic of her grabbing a coffee though:

So yeah, not a great few weeks for Ghislaine Maxwell. Not only is she a globally maligned sex trafficker who is going to prison for the rest of her life, but she’s also now a single lady! In fairness to her husband, he did try to secure a $28.5 million bail package for Ghislaine back in 2020, but that fell flat on its face. So it’s not like he instantly ditched her after the sex trafficking stuff came out (which I’d be shocked he didn’t know about already, tbh). What was he supposed to do in the end, though? Wait for her to be released? Newsflash – she’s never getting out! Dude is moving on and not wasting another second in doing so. Fair play, Scott Borgerson. Fair play indeed.
