A few months ago we brought you news of the reimagining of the classic children’s tale ‘Winnie The Pooh’ as a horror movie and now we can bring you the first trailer – and confirm that our childhoods have all been ruined.

‘Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey’ is directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield and follows the titular character and his sidekick Piglet as they go on a murderous rampage following their abandonment by Christopher Robin. There’s not really much else to say about it other than that as it looks like your standard horror by numbers movie, so just take a look at the trailer below:

Lol. It’s safe to say that the movie looks way worse than I ever could have imagined, sort of like it was someone’s A Level end of year film studies final project or something.

I get that it’s a low budget movie but everything about it just looks very hackneyed and dated with the production values and acting somehow being even poorer. That might actually make the whole experience more ‘enjoyable’ for the viewers, but I reckon if I never saw this movie in my life then I probably wouldn’t lose any sleep over it or anything.

Hope anyone who does choose to see it enjoys it though and wish Rhys Frake-Waterfield all the best with his career. Looks like he’s gonna need it.
