‘The Haunting Of Hill House’ is universally known as one of the best series on Netflix, so it’s understandable that the follow up has very big shoes to fill.

Fortunately, it looks as thought ‘The Haunting Of Bly Manor’ is going to fill them after the first trailer dropped last night and makes it look even more terrifying than the original series. Take a look at it below and see what you think:

From The Haunting of Hill House creator Mike Flanagan and producer Trevor Macy comes The Haunting Of Bly Manor, the next highly anticipated chapter of The Haunting anthology series, set in 1980s England and based on Henry James’ 1898 novella The Turn of the Screw.

After an au pair’s tragic death, Henry Wingrave (Henry Thomas) hires a young American nanny (Victoria Pedretti) to care for his orphaned niece and nephew (Amelie Bea Smith, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth) who reside at Bly Manor with the estate’s chef Owen (Rahul Kohli), groundskeeper Jamie (Amelia Eve) and housekeeper, Mrs Grose (T’Nia Miller).

But all is not as it seems at the manor, and centuries of dark secrets of love and loss are waiting to be unearthed in this chilling gothic romance. At Bly Manor, dead doesn’t mean gone.

Yeah,  that trailer literally uses the same formula as every trailer ever now (spooky rendition of a famous song in the background, people saying random hard hitting sentences and several scary moments) but I guess there’s a reason for that because they always get you interested and wanting to watch the show.
