It’s a well known fact that the concepts behind television shows are becoming more and more stupid with every passing second, and whilst this next one might not be the stupidest one I’ve ever heard of, it certainly ranks up there.

The show is called ‘The Curiosity Of Jeff Goldblum’ and it basically follows Goldblum around the world as he learns about different every day objects and how they’re made etc. Here’s the official blurb:

The show taps into curiosity seeker Goldblum as he embarks on a journey across the globe to uncover the extraordinary stories behind the world’s most ‘ordinary’ things.

It puts Goldblum in the driver’s seat, guiding viewers on a mind-blowing adventure where we break down the unexpectedly complex science behind seemingly basic things

The first 12 episode series will deal with the following: ice cream, baseball, balloons, coffee, subways, cereal and toilet paper.

I mean when I started writing this my initial reaction was that Jeff Goldblum investigating everyday items is the dumbest idea ever adjust a gimmick, but after reading that it kinda sounds like the perfect thing to bingewatch with my flatmates on a Sunday when we’re hungover as hell and eating pizza. Fantastic idea whoever came up with it.

For more Jeff Goldblum, here’s a remix of his stupid laugh from Jurassic Park. Special.
