Fans Are Convinced Something Is Seriously Off With Jim Carrey In New Footage

Jim Carrey was presented with an Honorary César Award in Paris the other night; only the footage has people convinced that it’s ‘not Jim Carrey’ and that the Hollywood legend must have been ‘cloned’ or ‘reprogrammed’ or replaced by a ‘body double’.

He does look and sound a bit suspect, to be fair:

And what’s up with his new eyes? They’re not even the same colour!

The internet is going crazy with Jim Carrey conspiracy theories, but at the end of the day, it could only be one of two explanations. Either 64-year-old Jim Carrey has been taking his meds + going OTT on the fillers and plastic surgery, or we’re looking at a clone/imposter/body double, and not a very good one at that.

If it is really bad Botox/surgery, that’s weird because Jim never struck me as the type of guy to do that. It just seems so out of character, especially for the ‘enlightened’ soul who gave this wild red carpet interview a decade ago:

Is that the same guy? I mean, in this interview he seems completely done with Hollywood’s nonsense, and now goes and does the most Hollywood thing ever?

Something is off for sure. I guess deep down even the self-proclaimed enlightened celebrity gurus are insecure about getting old. Or maybe he was never really “above it all” in the first place…
