The story of the Willy Wonka experience-gone-wrong at Glasgow’s Box Hub venue has gone insanely viral all around the world, and we’ve now got our best look at the “action” yet with this extended footage one of the attendees uploaded to TikTok earlier:

Too funny. You actually have to give credit to the actors and workers who seem to at least be trying to do their best with what little they were given. Well, aside from the girls who were scooping the candy out of the cookie sheets at the end and looked like they’d rather be anywhere else on the planet.
Even still, am I crazy in thinking that, at least from this extended footage, it doesn’t look like the kids actually had too bad a time? If they’d rented out a building that was maybe a quarter of the size it may not have actually have looked like such a disaster in the photos that went viral.
The maddest part is that the Willy Wonka experience would probably be packed out for weeks on end if they reopened it following this publicity. Maybe something for event organiser Billy Coull to consider? Once he’s done getting an earful from the Scottish parents, that is.
