In something of a Raoul Moat/Paul Gascoigne situation (well, maybe not quite), former East 17 frontman Brian Harvey has turned up to the High Court in London and offered to help out Prince Harry, as long as he leaves his celebrity barrister behind.

Here’s the moment he appeared in the BBC’s live broadcast which was covering Harry’s legal battle with Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN):

Harvey apparently shouted to Prince Harry that he could ‘help’ him, yelling: ‘You do not need David Sherborne,’ in reference to the duke’s lawyer. All the reports are saying Harvey turned up as a protester but I’m not sure what he was protesting exactly. He has been regularly outspoken about his battles against newspapers on his Youtube channel, and appears in this image to be holding up some kind of private correspondance he wants to show the world:

In any case, most people know how badly Brian Harvey has suffered with his mental health over the years, from losing his gran to accidentally running himself over with his own car. He needs help and support and someone to listen to his grievances. Maybe that someone could be Prince Harry and they’ll form an unlikely bromance to take on the press together. What do you reckon, Harry? Ask him to Stay Another Day? (Sorry).
