Drunk Patriot Who Pushed Workman Off Ladder Wrongly Believed He Was Taking Down Union Jack

The drunk patriot who was caught on video kicking a ladder from under a workman he wrongly thought was removing a Union Jack has been spared jail.

Charles Gee, 62, from Little Hulton, was handed an 8-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months, after approaching the council worker in Walkden, yelling “don’t touch the flag” at him, and then trying to launch him off the ladder:

I mean, how much of a moronic flag-sh@gger do you have to be to hallucinate that a council workman is taking down a Union Jack flag and put him in harm’s way like that? The guy could have been seriously injured, or worse.

The worker, Krystof Kustra, managed to jump to the ground to avoid serious injury; he suffered minor scratches to his arms and hands. He repeatedly told Gee, “I’m installing CCTV, not trying to take down flags”.

Despite having 113 previous offences (!), Gee was spared immediate jail time. Aside from the suspended sentence, he was ordered to pay £100 compensation to the victim.

So basically, absolutely no consequences for his actions despite being a serial offender who can’t seem to stop getting into trouble with the police.

Then again, given his record, he has about an 80% chance of triggering the suspended sentence when he reoffends again in the next 12 months. If not, he’ll have been behaving much better than normal.
