Conor McGregor Thought He Was Being Complimented On X When Actually The Guy Was Calling Him A R*pist

Conor McGregor has had a mare on X after completely misinterpreting what a user was saying to him, and essentially thanking the guy for calling him a rapist.

Here’s how it played out:

Lol – too funny. I guess that’s what can happen when you take too many shots to the head + do mountains of coke in your spare time; someone can call you a rapist and you’ll think they just called you an absolute legend.

Now obviously I doubt this Adam Lynch guy would say any of that to Conor’s face, but that’s neither here nor there. If a keyboard warrior can’t use X to call a legit tough guy like Conor McGregor a rapist and avoid the consequences, then what’s the point?

Then again, maybe we’re not giving Conor enough credit here? Maybe he just rates the fact that he was referred to as the most dangerous man in Dublin, whether it’s because of his (alleged) rapey ways or not. Well, either way, it’s funnier to assume that he thought the guy was genuinely bigging him up.
