Meet Katherine Driscoll Asplundh – recently married to billionaire Cabot Asplundh (A+ billionaire name). Katherine wanted to update her Instagram handle to reflect her new surname/status and let everyone know she married into one of the richest families in America. Unfortunately for her, there exists another, much poorer, regular jane also named Katherine Asplundh already using the handle.

As a billionaire’s new wife, there was no way Katherine was going to let this small detail get in her way, and so she decided to try and bully this woman who dared to have the same name as her into relinquishing the handle… or else. Here are the messages:

Amazing. “I actually don’t believe that your name is Katherine Asplundh…” – how entitled can you get! Fair play to the other Katherine for how she handled it and not allowing this person to intimidate her with her weird threats. Very classy and dignified!

In fact it all ended up hilariously backfiring on billionaire Katherine, after normie Katherine shared the experience on r/NYCInfluencersnark, which prompted a whole bunch of people to start creating their own fake Katherine Asplundh accounts on Instagram:

There’s loads more but you get the picture. Just goes to show you cannot be this cocky and narcissistic on the internet and expect to get away with it. If she really wanted to flex her newfound billionaire muscles, she should have made her an offer she couldn’t refuse right off the bat. Immediately throw out an insane number to begin negotiations, maybe offer to pay off her debt/bills/send her on holiday or something. Instead, she tried to bully and intimidate her like she would give a sh*t what her surname is.

Ironically, it was billionaire Katherine who ended up deleting her Instagram account because she was getting so much grief over the way she behaved. Imagine – being bullied by the poors into deleting your account! Oh well, I’m sure it’s only temporary (hopefully not like her marriage).
