The worst idea that Boston rapper Benzino ever had in his life was to start beef with Eminem in 2002, the consequences of which he’s apparently still dealing with 20+ years later, with people always asking him about it and Eminem stans constantly sending him abuse.

Benzino went on NORE’s Drink Champs podcast the other night and literally broke down in tears talking about Eminem and how the rapper’s diss tracks continue to haunt him all these years later. Probably doesn’t help that he was drunk off his face, to be fair:

Damn, I actually feel bad for the guy. Eminem really took this man’s soul and destroyed him not just as a rapper but as a human being too. I know Benzino started it all 20+ years ago, but still, it’s sad to see. Not sure I’ve ever seen a man more in need of therapy in my life.

The question is – does Eminem now make peace with Benzino or does he sample this clip of Benzino crying on a podcast into his next diss track? Come on Em, have mercy! You already did enough damage with the first 3 diss tracks:

Worse still, Benzino’s daughter Coi Leray dissed him in a song too, singing “my daddy let me down”. Brutal stuff:

Here’s hoping Benzino gets the help he needs and Eminem takes it easy on him from now on. Come to think of it, maybe a “sorry” to Eminem for picking on him for being white all those years ago would be a nice gesture? Just an idea.
