BASSLACED SEPTEMBER PARTY

The final instalment of the BassLaced summer sessions sees the bass cadets team up with Pack London for their September party. The final episode in the series has BassLaced ending the summer with a bang and welcoming in the autumn.

Off the back of their latest release on MTA Records, “Dinosaurs”, 16Bit are playing at Cable and will headline the show. Alongside them will be Silkie & New Zealand trio, Truth, who, for this night only, will be playing a special back-to-back set. Check out “Feel,” the tune that they made together on “City Limits Vol 2.”

H.E.N.C.H recordings heavyweights Chasing Shadows make an appearance along with Breakbeat Kaos D&B duo Sigma while Dismantle, hot off the back of his latest release, “Computation,” hammered all over Radio 1 by Skream & Benga makes his Cable debut. There is also room on the line up for “Get Me” resident DJ, Lixo. Check out the Get Me blog for more info on their banging night. Finally, representing Pack London is two of the hardest working and most talented DJ’s around Slugz and Boyson.

A special mention has to go to Juakali, an extremely rare appearance while over from the USA. This man is like no other MC, insisting on hosting the entire event from start to finish, he will be going for a mammoth 6 hours on the night.

This month Room 2 is hosted by Southend-on-sea’s very own Kool Kids Klub, headlining their room is the one and only Danny Breaks. This man has been a musical influence for quite literally too many artists to mention, his roots are set as far back as acid house and the man is a true legend. Alongside are Kool Kids residents Whole Sick, Christian Spencer, Jazzy Newton and Jack Newton.
