I think the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard trial is probably scheduled to end sometime this week but it’s already starting off pretty badly for Heard as a resurfaced clip from 2011 seems to show her deliberately contradicting her evidence on the stand last week.

During her testimony, Heard stated that she didn’t really know much about Johnny Depp before she met him on the set of ‘The Rum Diary’. Sure, she had heard of him, but said that she wasn’t a fan of his work or overly familiar with any of his movies.

Sadly for her though, there’s also a video of her during the promo tour for ‘The Rum Diary’ saying that she’s a fan of Johnny Depp’s, describing him as ‘a cultural icon and a talented actor for as long as I can remember’. Take a look at that below:

Oops. The video has obviously gone viral on TikTok and I suppose you can argue that it wouldn’t have been too smart of a look for Heard to say that she had never even heard (lol) of her co-star and wasn’t familiar with any of his work during the promo tour for the movie, but even so haters are gonna point at this as evidence of how her testimony is all lies and you can’t trust her whatsoever.

I guess it’s up to everyone to make their own minds up, but I’m not sure if the fact that she may have lied about this means that she’s lying about everything that happened between her and Johnny Depp. Who knows at this point?
