A Guard Fell Over And Faceplanted After Standing Up For Too Long At The Queen’s Vigil

I was talking earlier about how it was crazy that so many people wanted to go to see the Queen’s vigil and were willing to stand in line for over a day in order to do so – often without any food or sustenance – but I hadn’t actually thought about the poor guards that were expected to stand there protecting her all day.

Turns out that I should have been considering these guys too though after one of them dramatically collapsed last night beside the Queen’s coffin in Westminster Hall. He first began swaying on his feet, before blacking out and falling face first onto the stone floor, leaving everyone in The Queue aghast.

The live feed was even paused as police rushed to help the man, but you can still see the footage below:

Hot damn that’s one hell of a faceplant isn’t it? It’s not currently know at the time of writing if the guy is OK, but it’s assumed that he was taken to hospital and given the appropriate medical attention, as well as receiving the respect of everyone in the world for serving the dead body of the Queen so well up to the point of exhaustion.

Let’s hope that nobody else is forced to stand up all day and nobody else in The Queue faces any such problems on the way to their brief audience with the Queen’s coffin. Good luck guys.

For more of the same, check out this guy who reckons he’s King Charles’ love child. Exactly what the guy doesn’t need right now.
