Tom Hardy Returning To MobLand For Season 3 Following ‘Firing’ Scandal
It looks like whatever the issue was between Tom Hardy and the producers of MobLand has been resolved, with the Brit now set to return to the show for Season 3.
Which is just as well, because he was the main protagonist and basically the only reason anyone watched the show in the first place.
This comes following initial reports in May that Hardy, 48, had been fired after being constantly late, obnoxious, winding up producers with requests for script and dialogue changes, and falling out with co-star Helen Mirren over Israel & Palestine.

All these reports about Hardy being awful and difficult to work with came out from set, but after everyone eventually sided with the actor, suddenly we were getting updates from set that actually, Hardy wasn’t technically fired and that producers were open to his return.
Helen Mirren even put out a post on Instagram that she loved him, which was funny because she’d been quiet when he was getting dragged all over the internet that week.
A month or so, Deadline is reporting that Paramount+ have reached an agreement with Hardy to bring him back in time for Season 3, with executive producer Guy Ritchie involved in mending bridges between Hardy and the rest of the crew.
I imagine there was a fair bit of financial incentive involved, so fair play to Tom Hardy for securing the bag on that one. At the end of the day, it’s drummed up a load of extra publicity for the show too. Win/win all round.
Season 2 of MobLand is set to air later this year. In the meantime, Tom Hardy has a rap album coming out featuring Busta Rhymes, Method Man and Czarface. No, seriously.
