Here we go again with some news that I doubt anyone ever wanted to hear this week, as YouTube icon PewDiePie has decided to release a diss track about none other than the supervillain himself Tekashi 6ix9ine.

Apparently PewDiePie had the idea for the diss track when he saw that a nursery rhyme channel called Cocomelon had passed 100 million subscribers, edging dangerously closer to his own 109 million. He therefore decided to make a video where it looked like he was going to read a nursery rhyme, but instead decided to pop off and rag on Tekashi 6ix9ine instead. What a plot twist.

Well that really was something wasn’t it? I’ll be honest I had to turn it off after about a minute. How is this guy so successful?

I’m not really sure why PewDiePie has chosen to target Tekashi there – well actually I am it’s because he has a massive social media following too, so this is obviously going to pop off quite a bit – but I suppose the diss track is fairly well put together. Unsure why he had to get Cocomelon involved as well, I guess this is why I’m not a multimillionaire social media content creator though hey.

Hopefully this leads to a celebrity boxing match between the two of them as that seems to be the way it’s all going at the moment. Can’t wait.

For more of the same, check out Riff Raff challenging Tekashi 6ix9ine to a celebrity boxing match. It’s only a matter of time.
