Ghana’s Witch Doctor Has “Released” Harry Kane From The Curse Following 0-0 Draw With England

The witch doctor from Ghana who cursed Harry Kane claims to have “released” the England captain from the hex following the 0-0 draw on Tuesday.

Nana Kwaku Bonsam AKA The Devil of Wednesday had applied the curse in the days prior to the game, and as we all saw yesterday, Kane was completely ineffective and even missed a sitter in the final minutes.

Bonsam has now mercifully lifted the curse:

Bonsam confirms: “I am now going to release Harry Kane so that he can score in the next match for England.”

Listen, fair play to the Devil of Wednesday for this. He could have easily left the curse on England for the remainder of the World Cup, but he’s not that kind of guy. This curse was always about helping Ghana, not punishing England. That’s why it was only a little curse that ensured Harry Kane didn’t score, rather than have him injured or something terrible like that.

In fact I’m surprised he hasn’t put a curse on the refere yet, given that Ghana were refused a stonewall penalty at the end there. Maybe he can put a curse on the hydration breaks while he’s at it, too? Go on Bonsam, do us all a favour.
