Axios Sources Say Trump Was “P*ssed” During Call With Netanyahu As Iran Abandons Talks

Just a couple weeks ago, Trump claimed the U.S. was hours away from agreeing a peace deal with Iran that would finally stop the bombing and open up the Strait of Hormuz, but it seems Bibi Netanyahu and Israel had others plans because they seem insistent on keeping the war going.

As such, Iran announced that they are abandoning talks altogether due to repeated ceasefire violations by Israel bombing Lebanon, and will move to block the Strait of Hormuz “completely”.

This makes Trump look very silly, and now according to Axios, the President has let rip on Netanyahu in a tense phone call.

Trump reportedly told the Israeli PM: “You’re f*cking crazy. You’d be in prison if it weren’t for me. I’m saving your ass. Everybody hates you now. Everybody hates Israel because of this.

“What the f*ck are you doing?”

Apparently this has resulted in Israel and Hezbollah holding off on new strikes for now, but how long will that last?

Furthermore, how many times have we gotten these reports over the years that Trump (and Biden before him) are secretly “p1ssed” with Israel while continuing to assist and essentially letting them do what they want in the Middle East? It just seems like a planted story to help Trump save face in a situation where he’s not calling the shots.

In any case, it seems like this war is a long way from being over. The midterms are coming up in November so Trump will want at least the illusion of a peace deal done or close to being done by then.

If a full-scale war has broken out by then, Trump could even cancel the midterms and carry on doing what he’s doing. The most important thing for him is that he stays in power, after all.
