Furious Farmer Sprays Dozens Of Luxury Cars With Thick Cow Slurry After Illegally Parking In His Field

A disgruntled farmer in the Lake District sprayed dozens of illegally parked cars with thick, stinking, liquid manure (slurry) after tourists ignored warning signs during the heatwave last Bank Holiday weekend.

At least 20 cars, including Mercedes, Jaguars, and BMW, parked in a private field off the A591 near Rydal Water in Cumbria.

In doing so, they completely ignored sheep farmer Hogg Hodgson’s polite notice:

They even moved rocks that Hodgson had put in place to block access! As such, he had no choice but to respond to this blatant disrespect by spraying the 20 vehicles with poop:

Hogg told MailOnline: ‘I’m not proud of what I did. I didn’t do it for any particular reason other than the way tourists behave. I just get fed up with the way they treat the Lake District.

‘I am sick of being abused by people when I ask them not to park on our land.’

Indeed, it’s not the first time this has happened. Hogg claims tourists routinely leave farm gates open, break fences and drop litter across his fields, which border picturesque Rydal Water, a popular beauty spot between Ambleside and Grasmere.

He added: ‘Everything I did was on the field, I didn’t spray anything on the road.’

Keeps him well within the law, then. In fact it sounds like these cars were blocking Hogg Hodgson from fertilising his field? Should compensate him for loss of earnings, if anything.

Everyone online is now calling Hogg a hero, though he’s far too modest to accept that title.

At the end of the day, you can’t be parking on land that isn’t yours, can you? Just a pity they didn’t have their sunroofs down or windows open. Well played, Hogg!
