Drunk Racist Forces Jet2 Flight To Divert After Threatening Crew And Racially Abusing Passenger
A Jet2 flight from Antalya, Turkey, to London Gatwick was forced to make an emergency landing in Sofia, Bulgaria, this week, after a drunk, racist lunatic kicked off mid-flight.
The passenger shouted racist and homophobic abuse, threatened to fight the air crew, and at one pointy apparently tried to open the aircraft door while in flight. It was an absolute meltdown for the ages…

The guy says to another passenger: “I’ll smash your black jaw you pr1ck, you f**got c***.”
During the commottion, a passenger in her 60s was accidentally punched, and then a whole bunch of passengers got involved, prompting the pilot to divert the plane and get the guy out of there as soon as possible.
Jet2 said that they have banned him and his wife, who was also being a nuisance, from flying with them for life.
Following the incident, Jet2 stated it is lobbying for a national database to ensure disruptive passengers are banned from all UK airlines, not just the one they disrupted. Probably not a bad idea, to be fair. After all you don’t need this guy showing up on your EasyJet flight, do you?
