MMA Fighter Gets Punched Out Of Cage After He Kissed And Humped His Opponent

It’s bad enough being chocked out in an MMA cage, but imagine your opponent then planting a kiss on the back of your neck and humping you in front of the world?

Max Holzer absolutely violated Deniz Ilbay at the Oktagon 69 event in Dortmund, Germany, last night, prompting Ilbay to chase him around the cage and then punch him through its walls:

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a man go from tapping out to 100 in such a short amount of time. He was basically sexually assaulted in there. You’d rather have Mike Tyson bite your ear off than have another grown man hump you like that in the middle of the cage after making you tap out in front of the world.

No word on whether Holzer will face any repercussions for this (aside from being punched out of the cage), but I think we can all agree there’s no place for that kind of behaviour in combat sports.

Then again, I did just see this comment about it on Reddit:

There is a backstory behind it, Holzer was insulted throughout the whole site by the corner, the father of his opponent and his opponent himself. We are talking about insults where “mothers” are involved, according to multiple reports. There were official warnings send out during the fight to the corner. Additionally in the livestream you could hear other insults. i dont want to judge his behaviour, just add some facts.

Well, it still doesn’t make it acceptable, but that’s the fight game I suppose – sometimes you’re made to eat your words in brutal and humiliating fashion.
