Trump Appoints Erika Kirk To The U.S. Air Force Advisory Board

President Donald Trump has appointed Erika Kirk to the U.S. Air Force Academy Board – filling the seat previously held by her late husband Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated in September last year.

This appointment makes Kirk one of six presidential appointees on a 16-member advisory panel.

As a member of the board, she will oversee the academy’s curriculum, discipline, and morale, providing recommendations to the Secretary of Defense and to Trump himself.

White House spokesperson Olivia Wales described Kirk as the “perfect choice” to continue her husband’s legacy. No experience necessary, I guess?

A former Miss Arizona USA, Erika Kirk currently serves as the CEO of Turning Point USA, a position she also took over following her husband’s death.

The question everyone seems to be asking is – what makes Erika Kirk qualified to be appointed to the Air Force Academy Board?

Well, I guess it’s the same thing that makes most of the people qualified in Trump’s administration; viability on TV and the internet and right-wing cultural relevance.

Which I suppose is the same reason that Charlie Kirk was on the board previously, although he did begin to change his stance on certain issues (Israel, Iran) shortly before he was shot dead. Funny that.

So yes, she’s been appointed to the board because her dead husband was on the board, and he shouldn’t have been on the board either.

Turning Point USA is a widely successful propaganda operation that runs in schools all around America, and so as far as Trump is concerned, it makes sense to have the CEO of that company working closely with him at such a level, especially as she’s someone who will toe the line for him.

Naturally, Candace Owens has had her say:
